Received €300 from a cancelled P2P transaction. Buyer blocked me after I refused to send USDT. What should I do?

Hey everybody, I want some recommendation on a sketchy state of affairs involving a Binance P2P transaction. I’m fairly positive somebody tried to tug a triangle rip-off on me.

It started once I was making an attempt to promote USDT for EUR. I found a purchaser with a reliable-looking profile and opened the order. He greeted me and stated he was proceeding, but time ran out and the operation was routinely cancelled. Abruptly, he messaged me saying he sent the cash anyway and despatched a screenshot. I checked my bank and nothing was there, so I advised him it didn't arrive, that the order was cancelled, and requested him to please not do anything. He insisted he sent it, but I couldn't see something, so we left it at that.

Two days later, €300 truly hits my bank account, and I acquired a message from him asking me to verify. The cash was there, but my intestine informed me something was off. I advised him I might return the money, but solely by way of a direct financial institution switch again to the precise origin account. He refused and stored insisting I ship him the equal in USDT as an alternative.

Because of this, I referred to as my financial institution to request a reversal. My bank advised me they couldn't do it on their end and that I needed to manually transfer it back myself. I decided the safest route was to tell the customer to go to his financial institution and request the reversal himself. However once I went to message him, I noticed he had already blocked me.

I've officially reported the consumer and the transaction to Binance help. Now, I’m simply sitting right here with €300 in my bank account. Should I just depart the money untouched till a financial institution or the actual sufferer claims it? Has anyone skilled this actual state of affairs before? Any advice is appreciated!
